Ball Hockey
Hello Members,
Starting next week March 10th we are running ball hockey in Blyth on Wednesday nights and in Brussels on Thursday nights for 6 weeks.
Please look at the BBMHA website to see what time and days your child is scheduled to play.  The arena's alternate every other week.   Depending on the week - they could play Wednesday or Thursday night.

Registration and Waiver Form - BALL Hockey
Please fill out the Registration and waiver form, and bring $30.00 to the first ball hockey session.

Registration form, signed waiver and $30.00 must be received by an executive at the door in order to participate in ball hockey.

Cheques can be payable to Blyth Brussels Minor Hockey.

Covid rules still apply at both arenas.  We need a door screener to sign players in.  Players are to wear masks until their helmets are on.

There is only 10 players per dressing room allowed.  Same rules as before with ice hockey, following Huron Perth Health Unit Guidelines.

The half ice boards will be set up at both arenas.  If it says home bench on website for your team then they will play on the home side of the boards against each other.  They can play 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 depending on numbers.  Older teams will play with large nets from the red line to goal line.  Younger teams will play cross ice with small nets.

Equipment required is a helmet, gloves, stick, running shoes and a jock for out players.  Goalies are required to wear full gear.

If a regular goalie wants to play out we will have goalie gear there to wear so kids can take turns at goal.

We will have some older, smaller jerseys at arenas for players to wear.  The teams will be split up by the coaches/volunteers that are supervising.

The referees are high school students getting volunteer hours.  We will also need a team trainer at each session.
