Midget Black proves Team work wins games
The boys did it again...played short handed and came out with a win. With 7 skaters and only 1 goalie the BBMHA Crusaders pulled off a mark in the win column.
Early in the 1st period Jacob Roth with help from Jeff Gordon allowed us to tie the game.
With only a couple minutes left in that same period Carson Richmond also accepted help from Jeff to give us our second point.
Not to be outdone, 30 seconds later Logan Finlayson seen a pass from Nolan Johnston and added another point to the visitor side. The middle period was a chance for Logan to get his 2nd goal of the game, only unassisted this time.
Nolan caught the scoring fever only 34 seconds later with a pass from Logan and Devin Bridge.
In the 3rd period Jeff, after receiving passes from Nolan and Carson, gave his team their 6th point.
Less than 30 seconds later Nolan took the lead from Logan and Nick for lucky number 7.
Since Jacob started the scoring, he decided to end it as well, with his 2nd and the team's 8th point of the match.
Trevor made some amazing saves, which helped keep the opposing points down to a minimum.
Very few penalties assigned and a lot of passing proved to be a key factor in their win tonight. Everyone of these boys skated hard and seen a lot of ice time.
I look forward to our next game and know that again they will keep the spectators on the edge of their seats.
