Strong Start for the Bantam Rep Crusaders
Submitted By Betty Popp on Monday, October 31, 2016
Off to a strong start, the Blyth Brussels Bantam Team is undefeated in their first four games!

The season started with an exhibition game win over Lucknow with a score of 6 to 2.  The score was tied 2 all at the start of the third, when the Crusaders found their stride and put four on the board in the 3rd.

The team hosted an exhibition game with Seaforth on October 16th and the Crusaders fell into deep penalty trouble during the second period, but were able to hold off Seaforth and win with a score of 4 to 2.

During Crusaders Day in Blyth on Saturday October 22, the team hosted their third exhibition game, playing Lucknow and winning with a final score of 11 to 2.  The players would like to thank all the Crusaders Fans who came out to show their support on this day.

On Wednesday October 26th the team hosted Mitchell AE for their first regular season game and finished the game with a 3 to 2 win.  It was close to the finish but the team was able to hold onto the lead to the final buzzer.  Hopefully this strong start is a sign of a great season for this team.
