Submitted By kreid on Thursday, September 23, 2010
Brussels Minor Hockey coaching committee have organized 2 goalie clinics for Brussels Minor Hockey and Blyth Minor Hockey goalies.  All goalies from both centres Novice and up are encouraged to attend.  Clinics will be held in Brussels on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at 10:00 AM, and Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 10:00 AM.

Mark Nelson from the Stratford area, and his team, will provide our goalies with on-ice training.  Mark is involved with the Stratford Cullitons and also scouts in the OHA.

The sessions will be 1.5 hours each and include stretching, work stations, shooting stations, etc. There will be 4 instructors involved.

All minor hockey coaching staff should plan to attend as observers to see effective drills that can be used in practices.

Costs for the clinics are being covered by both minor hockey organizations, and provided at no cost to Blyth and Brussels goalies.  Pre-registration is recommended.  For Blyth goalies please email Kim Reid with name and year of birth, for Brussels goalies please contact Ron Strome at 519-887-9419.
