Effective for the 2009-2010 season: Hockey Canada Playing Rule Number: Rule 23. Goaltender's Equipment.
Note: This motion comes into effect for the 2009-2010 hockey season which has allowed two full seasons for equipment purchase/use transition by the consumer and manufacturer.
