Atom Rep in WOAA Final
The team was eliminated by Embro from the OMHA playoffs, but then it was on to group play with Wallace and Drayton in a home and away round robin.

Since Drayton and Blyth are in the "D" Division, the WOAA championship was to be played within the group playoffs.  If either team won both round robin games, that team would also win the WOAA championship.  If the games were split, a third would be scheduled to decide the winner.

Blyth opened group play against Drayton and the team was short staffed and lost the game 7-1.  The team then played Wallace and won both games by scores of 4-1 and 6-0.

Then the final group play game with Drayton and plenty on the line for Blyth.  Firstly, win the game to force an additional game for the WOAA championship and secondly, score enough goals to advance to the next round of group play.  The team played a solid game and won 3-0 in Drayton, however the deficit from the first game was too much to overcome and the team was unable to advance in group play.

The third and deciding game with Drayton will be played in Drayton and will probably take place after the March break.
