Seaforth ties OMHA playoff against the Crusaders
The Howson Mills Bantam Rep Crusaders continued their series with Seaforth on 16 Jan in Seaforth.

The Crusaders led the 6 point series 4-2 entering the game.  The Crusaders had played hard the past few games and seemed to be out of gas at the drop of the puck.

Although the Crusaders didn't have the jump they had in previous games, they still held the Stars at bay until there was less than 2 minutes left in the period when Seaforth was able to score off a faceoff and put the Stars up 1-0.

The Stars went up 2-0 when Griffin St. Onge fired a shot at the net that fooled goalie Spencer Lazarevich.

Mason Weber, who has been a force all series, got the Crusaders on the board with an assist to Dakota Coultes. Despite some penalty trouble the Crusaders kept the game close and were only down by one at the end of the second period.

Seaforth came out of the flood break skating hard, and a tired Crusader team was not able to mount much of an attack. Seaforth was able to score one more goal and the Crusaders lost the game 3-1 allowing the Stars to tie the series at 4 points.

Seaforth outshot the Crusaders 38-16, and were able to take advantage of a shorthanded Crusaders team     .
