Midget Reps tight game with Elma Logan
The Midget Rep team played their last game of 2010 in Elma Logan on Thursday, December 30th. The bench was short with 4 of the regular players unable to attend and the local league team was also playing the same night.
Elma Logan opened the scoring in the first 5 minutes of the game. It would take Blyth till the early minutes of the second before they would tie it up when Adam Cronin found the twine, assisted by Matt Chalmers.
Later in the second Elma Logan would go ahead by 2. The rest between the second and third, gave Blyth the edge they needed.
About half way throught the third Ryan Sholdice would score, with assists to Matt Popp and Shea McLean. 2 1/2 minutes later Mclean would score, assisted by Jeremy Ross and Kody Higgins. Cronin would score one more marker to round out the period.
