Mitchell Tournament - Game #2
Our second game of the tournament was against Six Nations.  Another team we don't have a chance to play against in regular season.  The outcome worked in our favour as the Crusaders put a point on the win column.

Scoring for us started near the end of the first period.  Carson Bromley kept working at the puck and found Jackson Hallahan open for the pass.  Jackson worked his magic and found the open spot in the opposition's net.

The second period was one of defense and great shots.  The Six Nations goalie proved their talent and kept all our attempts from scoring down to zero.  In fact no goals were had at this time.

Last period of the game was a different story...once the Crusader's tap was open there was not slowing down the momentum these players had.  Early on Carson Bromley passed to Kurtis Marks who found Brett McCutcheon available to score our second goal.  This line is on fire!!  Not to be outdone or left behind Carson gained access to the puck and passed it over to Shea Cox.  Shea took Carson's advice and put it behind the crease.  With excitement still high, Kurtis once again took control of the puck and gave it to Shea, who again found the goal net for our fourth goal.  Only 16 seconds later Jake Bromley using skillful passing caught control of the puck for a pass to be given to Luke Fisher who gave his AP team their fifth goal.  With flames still burning in the Crusaders and less than 1 minute of play, Shea became the assistant with a good pass to Jackson Hallahan who gave us our last and sixth point.

Every Crusader should be proud of the team work put together to give their team the win.  All members are important, no matter the outcome.

Back tomorrow for game #3 in Monkton.  Good Luck Team :)
