Winter causes havoc on Schedule
Old man Winter is here and he is angry. After a cancelled game and a cancelled practice due to weather the boys were chomping at the bit to hit the ice and play HOCKEY. Unfortunately for the Goderich Sailors they were the opponent. The boys came out flying and clicking on all cylinders.

The offensive assault was constant, unrelenting as the boys jumped out to very quick 6-0 lead. Coach Mike Ansley changed things up moving players around to let up or this one could have been news worthy. The staff and players showed respect for the game and their opponent letting off the gas and posted a 10-2 final score.
Offensively The Crusaders were lead by a trio, yes I said a trio of players. Justin Case Fleet lead the way with 4 goals, Hot Rod Rodney Ansley had 3, and Everett The Blyth Brawler Cherrey scored his first hat trick ever.  The Brawler was on the flank with Hot Rod and the two of them played extremely well together. If the trio can keep it going heading into playoffs, in my opinion these young Crusaders look unstoppable. Playing very well in net was Aiden The Quiet One Hickey as well. He has been working extremely hard in practice and skills and Drills and attending the goalie clinics put on by the BBMHA Executive throughout the year. Your hard work Aiden is paying off. We are proud of you and your commitment to perfecting your trade.
Two regular season games remain, then off to playoffs. We still don't know how things are going to work out for who we play, but we accept the challenge of repeating as WOAA Champions. We know there are exceptional teams in our loop, so we will be in tough but have complete confidence in our kids. They hate losing, love winning and most of all love to have fun. Tight knit group of youngsters here, lead by their committed parents and very determined coaching staff.
GO CRUSADERS GO!!!
