Third of three in a row...
Bruce Penninsula #2 traveled again to Blyth for another game of hockey in the play off series. This is our third game in as many days and the boys are working hard, still.
The Crusaders have had a busy weekend and it was time to play a team new to us. Scoring started early in the first with Sem and Nick passing to Finner for our first goal at 11:18. Ten minutes later Avery, alone, added our second and last goal of the game.
This was a true battle of hockey. Both teams came out to win and it showed with the speed both teams had to produce. With a constant short bench for the Crusaders it was a real treat to have 2 full lines for this game. Our boys only had 3 penalties all game and they again adjusted well to playing with whoever was on their line.
There is no shame in how this game was played by our boys. They all skated hard, worked hard and kept shooting on the net. In fact Dommer, our AP had just played his own game on the same ice surface just before us and he never gave up. We are lucky to have a great addition to the team.
With one night off, we are travelling to Lion's Head for our last game against this team.
