Winning ways Continue!!
On Saturday the Crusader Kids continued with their winning ways in Zurich. Will The continued steady play of Justin Case Fleet lead the way offensively notching 3 more goals. Along with Fleet's effort Payton Orr Piper scored her first goal of the year. Good for you Payton. Your hard work and excellent positional play has finally paid off!!!
Will the Thrill Nesbit once again brought his lunch pail and hard hat to the game. Showing that hard work, constant checking, and a positive team first mentality is just another day at the office for him. A true leader.
With only 8 skaters all the kids played their hearts out. Left it all on the ice. In typical Crusader fashion they did not give up. Battling a full Zurich squad and the much bigger ice surface the kids persevered with a 7-6 win. Another solid goaltending display by Rowdy Rowdy Hayden Piper was key to the victory. All the kids were exhausted afterwards. Thank you for your continued hard work and refusing to give up. Very proud of you all and it is nice to see.
Thank you to Ms Amanda for helping out on the bench as Everett, Sarah and I were not in attendance. Coach Jeremy and Ms Erin kept the ball rolling. Thank you to them as usual.
With only a few games left, lets keep the good times rolling. Hard work and great team play will always come out on top. ALWAYS!!
