With two lines clicking and another strong outing in net from Brooklyn The Brawler Bromley, the kids of the Tyke Burgundy Crusaders skated away with another win in Wingham. The Battle of Highway 4 did not disappoint as the game was end to end action. The Crusaders won 7-3.
Wesley Pipes Marks once again led the way scoring 3 goals. With 2 goals a piece were Justin Case Fleet and Everett Happy Gilmore Cherrey. Strong defensive play by Keenan The Barbarian Courtney and Jeffery The Great Wall of Bauer help steady the offensive attack from the Ironmen of Wingham. With practice being attended well as of late the kids are reaping the rewards of dedication and team play.
A special shout out to a very determined little Will The Thrill Nesbitt. The Thrill battled through a very bad cold. Playing as hard as he could. He showed great guts and pardon the pun, will, to play as hard as he did. The coaching staff had to shut him down before the end of the game. GREAT JOB WILLY!!
This Saturday the always powerful Mount Forest Rams come to town at the Blyth Arena at 1030 am. Come on out and join the fun and support the local hockey. These kids work hard and exemplify team sport.
We as a coaching staff are extremely proud of all the kids. Thanks to the parents for committing their time to ensure improvement every week. It is really starting to show.
