The kids of the Burgundy Tyke Crusaders were at it again on Saturday afternoon in front of a packed house in Howick. Mad Dog Maddie Hickling was outstanding in goal for the Crusaders back stopping them to her first win of the season as the goalie. She made numerous key stops to ensure we came out with the 5-2 victory over a pesky Howick team.
Happy Gilmore Cherrey led the way offensively with 2 goals and 3 assists. Rounding out the scoring was Wesley Pipes Marks, Will the Thrill Nesbitt, Justin Case Fleet and scoring her first goal of the season was Rowdy Rowdy Hayden Piper. Pipers goal was a howitzer from the point clocked at close to 100 mph!!!
Strong defensive play all game by Wesley Pipes was also key to our hard earned victory.
With a 3-1-1 record in our last 5 games things are coming together nicely. Hard work in
PRACTICE is paying off with tremendous positional play being played in the games by all. Way to go kids. Love it and love the effort.
