A Dignified Defeat....
The BBMHA midget LL Crudaders traveled to Chatsworth for the last of 2 games in our final playoffs.  After almost 10 days off the ice the boys only took a short time to get back on their "skates".

The final verdict came down to penalty minutes and we had too many men in the box to come away with a win.  It was a great effort by all the skaters, the net seemed to have a few more holes than usual...but we gave it a good shot.

Lucas (Teddy) Townsend gave us our only goal of the game and he had his eye on the puck for a great pass from Logan Finlayson.  This occurred in the first period and TCDMHA came back with a vengeance.

Overall these boys have nothing to be ashamed of, they worked hard and performed as a team to get the title of Maroon South Midget LL Champs, thus coming in second overall in the Maroon Division.  Practices were held weekly with Coach Drew doing his best to work plays with only 6-7 skaters showing up.  These consistent players have a true love of hockey and teamwork.  Thanks boys!!

The midget's give a huge thanks to our APs...Jason Wilts and Teddy Townsend.  These bantam boys took a lot of their time coming to practices and games to benefit us.  It was exciting to watch both these boys excel in their skills from the beginning to the end of the season.  Thanks Teddy and Jason, our season would have been very different without you both.

A huge thank you to the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends for coming out to cheer on this team.  Parents keep the boys organized, drive them to arenas and keep them in proper hockey gear.  What we do without Mom & Dad!?

I thank Coach Drew and Trainer Rob, who took on the commitment of guiding these boys. I am sure they too enjoyed the chat and friendship as much as I did.  This is a great group of boys, they have life stories and friendships that will last a long time. As manager and team "Mom" I will miss these boys...I wish them all the best in the future.

Hope you to see you at the BBQ!!
