Bantam Rep Crusaders flat as they fall to South Bruce 7-2
The Howson Mills Bantam Rep Crusaders must have had visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads as their minds were not on hockey, and the results showed.

The South Bruce Blades were able to jump ahead of the Crusaders 2-0 in the first on two power play goals. Mason Weber continued his excellent play of late and brought the Crusaders within one goal with a fine individual effort.  Weber carried the puck in to the South Bruce end and was able to skate around the net unmolested. Weber then skated in front of the net an slipped a nice, low shot pass the Blades goalie.

That was as close as the Crusaders would get the Blades scored three more goals in the second period. The Blades are a disciplined, good skating team, and had the Crusaders running around in their end.

The Blades came out hard in the third and were able to score an early goal to put the game out of reach.  The Crusaders didn't quit and Mason Weber was able to get his second of the game with an assist going to team Captain, Jacob Roth.

The Blades scored one more to win the game 7-2.

The Crusaders next action is in the Silver Stick tournament after Christmas.
