Bantam Rep Crusaders fall short agains Seaforth
The Howson Mills Bantam Rep Crusaders came out flying against the Seaforth Stars, but ultimately fell to Seaforth 5-3.

The Crusaders hit the ice skating hard in Monday night action in Seaforth, with every player giving it their all, but a lack of puck luck cost the Crusaders.

The Crusaders fell behind early, but Ryan Jacklin, with assists to Myles Johnston and Mason Weber, tied the game up at one.

Down 3-1 in the second period Ryan Jacklin scored a power play goal, tipping in a nice point shot from defenceman Alex Coultes. Bailey Bos got the other assist on the goal, bringing the Crusaders within one goal.

The Crusaders continued to play hard, but Seaforth was able to go up 4-2 at the beginning of the third period.

Bailey Bos continued his strong play and scored an unassisted goal to get the Crusaders within one goal, but penalty calls took away momentum. Bos was able to get a short handed break away late in the game, but was unable to capitalize. The Stars were able to score an empty net goal and put the game out of reach.

The Crusaders, to a man, played their best team game of the season.

The Crusaders are in action again on Friday night against the Wingham Ironmen.
