Bantam Girls Start Undefeated
The Crusader Bantam girls B team starts the season a little slow with 3 straight ties. That was followed up with 2 shut out victories against Ayr and Stratford.
The team plays in the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League, Bantam B West division along with 9 other teams. The team will conclude a 22 game regular season schedule by the end of January. The top 8 teams of the 10 team division will make the playoffs. The playoffs consist of 3 rounds to determine a division winner that will go on to meet the other division winners in March at the LLFHL Championship Weekend Tournament.
The qualification playdowns for the Provincial Championship tournament will also start off in February in a format to be determined by the OWHA at a later date.
The team will have a busy November with 8 regular season games during the month. Next up is a game on Wednesday November 6th at 7:30 in Brussels with the division leading Sabres from South Huron.
