Another exciting and action packed saturday december 7 in palmerston as the novice rep. crusaders were on a mission to win the tournament. that they did by first defeating the georgian shores team by a score of 5-0, then it was onto the tough flesherton team this was a thriller with flesherton striking first with 2 goals, back we came to tie it, then they went up by two again, the boys fought back with 3 won 5-4. mount forest was next and a 1-0 crusader lead from early in the 2nd period proved to be a real nail biter until 40 seconds an empty netter gave the fans some breathing room. way to go boys showed how a team never gives up even if down a couple. well deserved "A" champs.
