Novice Reps Draw First Blood Against BCH
They came to play and that they did our Novice Rep team. There is never a dull moment with this bunch. Travelling to Hensall to play the ever strong BCH bunch on Sunday afternoon seen our kids come out flying and soon we had a 3-1 lead.
This was then shortened to a 3-3 tie and a lot of nervous parents. With strong goaltending, outstanding defense and forwards that would not say die, we scored with 1:35 left on the clock. Wow, what a long 1:35 that was but the kids played the whole 35 minutes of this game and came out with a 4-3 victory that was well deserved.
I'm sure some parents are thinking that there has to be an easier way, not sure we can take a whole lot of these nail biting, edge of the seat games.
