Novice Rep Take 2 in Weekend Action
The Novice rep travelled to Seaforth to battle the Stars, the Stars looking for revenge as they have come up short twice to the tough Blyth Brussels team. Again our kids, some sick, alot yawning, came out and skated to a 6-4 victory just getting the job done. Coach Fritz wondered what Saturday would bring against the undefeated BCH team.
Game two Saturday at 2:00 pm, Clinton arena vs undefeated BCH. The dressing room was a buzz of music playing, chatting, laughing kids. I think the Blyth Brussels team were recharged and ready for this tough match against BCH.
Right from puck drop you could see this game was going to be end-to-end action and yes, that it was. Blyth Brussels struck first which proved to be a real confidence booster, great goaltending, goals by each team seen this game tied into the third period.
Penalty trouble for the Byth Brussels team seen them down two men for a time, they killed the penalties off with much excitement for the fans. A late goal and the time clock, that seemed to stand still at times, finally rang out and gave our kids a 4-3 victory, handing BCH their first loss.
