Juvenile Crusaders Quest
The Blyth Brussels Juvenile Crusaders have had an up and down season but are now on the right path in their quest.









The Juvenile Crusaders played in the Mildmay tournament and the Lucknow Silverstick tournament.  Thank-you to our sponsors for their support.

They have now started their playoff run and in the first round met up with the Seaforth Stars. Both teams played great hockey, but Blyth Brussels was able to take the series in three games.

The Blyth Brussels Juvenile Crusaders next quest started in Brussels against a tough Drayton Defenders squad and at the end of an exciting game the Crusaders ended up on the losing side with a 4-3 score. Goals coming from Travis Kerr assisted by Ryan Sholdice and Dan Dery, Ty Sebastian from Adam Cronin, and Mike McDowell and Taylor Prior from Ty Sebastian and Matt Popp. Sharing goal duties for this game were Dave Irwin and Nathan Watson.

The Blyth Brussels Juvenile Crusaders second game was in Drayton and the fans witnessed another exciting game with the Crusaders being victorious in their efforts with a 3-0 score. Goals coming from Aaron Popp from Mike McDowell, Dan Dery from Adam Cronin and Matt Kerr, and Adam Cronin from Cody Subject and Dan Dery. Goalie for this game was Nathan Watson.

Game three was again in Drayton and the Crusaders showed up to play, which resulted in another exciting game that was witnessed by the many fans that are following the Crusaders quest. Again the Crusaders where victorious with a 7-3 score. (Stats not available at this time).

The next game on the Crusaders quest will be at Blyth on Friday, February 24, 2012 starting at 8:30 p.m. Come on out and support the Juvenile Crusaders in their quest to the WOAA championship.
