Peewee AE's Finish Round Robin 5 and 1
The Blyth Brussels Peewee AE's finished their round robin playoffs with a 5 and 1 record,  in large part to the goaltending of Jeremy Wilts as he kept opponents off the scoresheet for 159 minutes.

On February 15th the AE's travelled to Drayton to play the Defenders. The first two periods would remain scoreless with the boys keeping pace with the fast skating Drayton club, but it would take 30 seconds into the 3rd and Craig Raynard would score from Benny Newell for the lead. Wilts would stand tall thwarting all oncomers and in the last minute Wyatt Machan would seal the deal with an empty netter for a 2-0 win.

On the 17th the boys went to Milverton for a Friday night tilt against the Drives. The team would fire on all cylinders early and score twice in the 1st frame with Jarod Shearer from Damon Allen scoring two minutes in and Machan scoring unassisted with 3 minutes left. With AE's having a man in the penalty box for most of the 2nd, big Benny Newell would pot a shorty assisted from Avery McArter and Nolan Johnston for the 3-0 lead. The 3rd period would also see Newell unload the cannon to bulge the twine for his 2nd of the game and take his team to a 4-0 victory.

For the final game of the home and home round robin the Cyclones from Listowel visited Blyth on Wednesday evening. The 1st period remained scoreless but 5 minutes into the 2nd Shearer would score on a one-timer on a beauty pass from linemate Allen. McArter would score on a fast break a short time later assisted by Dylan McNeil, and Shearer would notch his 2nd a minute later from Machan for a 3-0 lead going into the 3rd. The last period would tend to be a little rougher than the first two with some big hits but 5 minutes in Machan would score from Johnston, and a minute later the line of McArter, Raynard, and Johnston would add one more. Unfortunately Jeremy Wilts' 159 minute shutout streak would come to an end a minute later but would not allow anymore as he led his team to a 5-1 win.

The AE's now await their fate as the other teams in the pool finish their games. With a 5-1 record they stand a good chance to move on to play for the Neilson Trophy but will have to wait and see.

The team will be playing in the Goderich Lions Young Canada Week Tourney over March Break, schedule yet to be determined.
