Blyth Brussels Battle Goderich on Home Ice
Blyth Brussels showed their hometown fans a great game battling against Goderich. With 24 seconds left in the game Nick Aitken beat the goalie assisted by Cole Zwep and Ryan McMicheal to put Blyth Brussels on the scoreboard.
Wade Machan scored unassisted giving the hometown team a 2-0 score at the end of the second.
Tyler Drennan fired one past the Goderich goalie assisted by Blake Porter in the third to take a 3-0 lead. Goderich battled back with 2 goals but the Blyth Brussels defense and Nick McArter in goal stopped Goderich from scoring any more.
