Bantams in OMHA Semi's
The boys had a great start to their OMHA semi-final series. We travelled to Newcastle for games 1 and 2 this weekend. After 2 games of total domination by the local boys, we managed a 3-3 tie in game 1 on Saturday and a 8-4 win on Sunday. The boys did a great job living up to the rough and tumble Bulldog attitude, but did an amazing job of staying out of the box!
Scoring on Saturday were Trent Michie, Conner Rodger, and Josh Van Soest. Assists by Quinton Sjaarda, Reece McArter and Arden Coultes. Sunday's goals were by Wyatt Ducharme, 12 seconds into the game, Jordan Hubbard, Dustin Pennington, Van Soest, Michie with 2, and Coultes with 2. Assists to Ducharme, Sjaarda (2), Hayden TenPas(2), Luke McCutcheon (2) and Pennington. Great goaltending by Matt McNichol all weekend.
Come out and cheer the boys on this coming weekend at 2 pm in Blyth on Saturday, and 3 pm in Blyth on Sunday!
