Novice LL in Mitchell Tournament
On Tuesday Blyth Brussels traveled to Mitchell for a 2 day tournament. The team played against BCH falling short by one goal. Mitchell Townsend put one past the pipes to get on the scoreboard in the first period but BCH tied it up in the second.
The team was hungry for a goal as Griffin Marshall fired one past the goalie to get his first of the season, assisted by Jeffery Walden and Tim Vincent. The game went to a shoot out where BCH got the final goal.
The next game was against Mitchell Snyders and the team came out strong and played strong. Scoring priviliges go out to Walden with 2, assisted by Joel Nesbit (1). Kennedy Huether put one off the boards and rebounded in the net to make the final score 3-0 with Ty McNichol getting another shut out.
