Midget Reps on road to Clinton
On Saturday night the BCH Ice Dogs played host to the Blyth Midget Rep Bull Dogs. The Ice Dogs opened the scoring early in the first, taking Blyth off guard. Less than a minute later Blyth's efforts were rewarded when Kirby Cook found the mark from Matt Chalmers.
Blyth would go ahead, when Austin Sjaarda would score two unassisted goals. BCH would score once again in the final minute of play of the first. BCH would score once more in the second. Blyth would keep the pressure on during the second and third. Goals were scored by Shea McLean (2), Matt Chalmers (4), Ryan Sholdice, 2 more by Cook, Jeremy Ross, Matt Popp and 1 more by Austin Sjaarda. Assists were awarded to Chalmers (2), Popp (2), Adam Cronin (2), McLean, Sjaarda (3), Cook, Sholdice, and John Lecomte.
