Bulldogs host Lucknow
December 14th would see the Lucknow team roll into Blyth for a 9:00 p.m. start. The first period would see the Bulldogs scoreless, with the Lucknow team netting three goals.
The second would see the Bulldogs getting goals from Jonathan Atkinson, assisted by Lucas Cooke and Connor Prescott, with the second goal netted by Jordan Bakelaar, assisted by Ryan Sjaarda. The Lucknow team did not back down and they would get three more goals in the second.
The third would see the Bulldogs get two more goals from Prescott, assisted by Ryan Sjaarda, and the second from Prescott assisted by Atkinson. Goaltender, Alec Lorentz would turn away many shots to keep the Lucknow team from scoring in the third.
Great team work was shown by Ryan Baker, Ryan Sjaarda, Jonathan Atkinson, Jordan Bakelaar, Lucas Cooke, Steven Ellis, Andrew Hess, John Lecomte, Aaron Popp, Connor Prescott, Ryan Sholdice, Brendan Stretton, Dana Teed, Cole McLean and Collin Whitfield, but would see these Bulldogs outscored 6-4.
These Midget Bulldogs will be on the road again for their next game vs. Zurich Thunder, Friday, December 18th at 8:30 p.m.
