Winning Streak Continues
The Bulldogs came out to play hockey, and hockey they did play on March 16th vs. Lucknow.
Scoring first for the Dogs, 2 minutes into the game, was Connor Prescott assisted by Ryan Sjaarda. The second goal came from Austin Sjaarda assists by Ryan Sjaarda and Kirby Cook. This end to end action game continued into the second period, with the Dogs still playing strong they where able to dig up 2 more goals from Austin Sjaarda, assisted by John Lecomte, and then with 1:01 left in the second, Mike McDowell netted one with assists from Aaron and Matt Popp.
The Dogs continued their attack and just 3 minutes into the third Kirby Cook found the net, assisted by Mike McDowell. Lucknow netted one in the third with 4:30 left in the game, the fans would really like to see the replay on that goal. The Dogs continued their teamwork style of play, with their ability to put their passes right to the intended teammates stick, hard skating every shift, and it paid off with one more goal from Mike McDowell.
The Bulldogs winning streak continues with this 6-1 victory, and the strong goaltending talents of Alec Lorentz.
Great work team, and coaching staff.
