Dogs Back on Winning Track
The Peewee LL Dogs win last two games.
The boys headed to Clinton on Saturday to face the BCH IceDogs. Blyth's, Trystan Weber would open the scoring late in the first. BCH would get one by goalie, Dustin Treble, for the only goal in the second period. Curtis Raynard would score with help from Robbie Gordon, and then Kyle Pollard would finish off the scoring with an empty net goal. Blyth Wins 3-1.
The Dogs then hosted the Zurich Thunder on Monday night. After several chances and some missed scoring chances, Blyth let Zurich take the lead. Blyth's, Curtis Raynard would then slip on in to tie the game. Dalton Richmond would then pick up the puck at centre and skate in, and fire a high shot over the goalie's shoulder to take the lead. Zurich would answer back with two of their own to retake the lead. Blyth then settled down in the third taking contol of the game, when Kyle Pollard would blast one thru the Zurich goalie. Trystan Weber would then skate out from behind the net, and score the final goal of the game giving the Bulldogs a 4-3 victory.
Next game is Friday night (March 13th) in Zurich @ 8:30.
