Peewee Rep Take Second Game of Series
On Wednesday evening the Dogs traveled to Drayton for game 2 of the series. As it was a long car ride the boys started off a little sluggish and Drayton got two past Blyth's goalie, Dalton Carey in the first.
The Blyth boys started waking up in the second period and got two goals of their own. The VanWyk twins each getting a goal, assists going to Wyatt Carey, Ryan Nesbitt and one each for the twins.
Heading into the dressing room between the second and third the game was tied at 2 a piece. Not sure what head coach, Scott Stevenson, said in that change room, but the boys game out to play their style of hockey for sure, as they scored 5 goals in the third. Scoring was Mike VanWyk, Dustin Pennington, and a hat trick for Arden Coultes. Assisting on those goals was Wyatt and Spencer Stevenson with two each. Final score was 7 to 2 for Blyth.
Game 3 of this series is to be played in Drayton on Saturday, January 31, at 5:00 pm. Just before our game the Atom Rep team begins their series with Drayton. Come out and support the Dogs.
