The Atom Reps Gain a Tie and a Win in 3 Days
The Atom Reps tie one and win one.
Saturday, November 8th seen Blyth play Brussels. This was a very close game with the play going back and forth. There were no goals scored in the first period with both teams keeping it away from the goalie. The scoring was started by Blyth's Hunter Dale assisted by Jordan Hubbard. Brussels was not far behind and Nic Zwep scored to tie it up after 2. Scoring in the third was Hunter Dale with his second of the game with assistance by Brendan Howson. Brussels came back with 5 minutes to go in the third with a goal by Wyatt Machan unassisted.
Blyth travelled in the snow to Howick on Monday, November 10th. The scoring was started in the first by Hunter Dale with no assistance. The second goal was also scored by Dale with a shot from the boards by Brandon Marshall. Howick came back with 2 goals to tie things up after the first period of play. Brendan Howson scored the lone goal of the second, unassisted. Howson would score Blyth's fourth goal with some assistance from Marshall. Blyth's fifth and final goal was scored by Colton Rodger. Howick started to gain some momentum coming back with 2 goals, however the buzzer stopped them at 3. Blyth comes out with a win of 5-3.
