Did we find our skates?
On Wednesday our boys and girl traveled to Mount Forest. It was a GREAT game! No scoring in the first period. The second period brought 2 of our men into the penalty box, which left Mount Forest with 5 men on the ice, and us with only 3. No scoring this period again for either team. The third period brought us all wondering are we going into O.T. We should have all touched wood as Mount Forest scored in the last 2 minutes of the game. The game ended with Mount Forest - 1, Blyth - 0. Great skating and team work!
Thursday night, brought Elma Logan to Blyth. Scoring started in the first period by Daymien Brak, a boy who just started hockey this year, and has made great progress to the team's ability. This goal was assisted by Brennan Hallahan. Period 2 - Elma Logan tied the game in the last 40 seconds. The third period brought Blyth on top again with Mackenzie Nesbitt slipping one in, assissts going to Dalton Carey and Patrick Franken.
Okay we are up 2-1, this is good, but not good enough, thought Nesbitt as she put another one into the pipes with the assist going to Brandon Marshall.
Again, good game by all, let's do the same on Saturday in Seaforth @ 1:00.
