Bulldog Mites Bite their way to Victory over the Youngest Sailors
Our Blyth Mites are proving to be a force difficult to stop.
The Mites took to the large ice surface of the Maitland Recreation Complex and had a great game. Coming away with the win and leaving the Little Sailors bandaging their bites!!
The 3 senior players on our mite team were a definite asset to the team but not the only asset. The whole team did their best, each of the little ones advancing at their own personal game. Joel, Marley and Mackenzie each made their way on and off the ice under their own power. Ryan C, Alycia, Jeff, Ryan McM, Sara and Rylee each followed the play up and down the ice and each took their place as goaltender between the pipes. Myea did her best being robbed of a goal three or four times, Alex and Mason were robbed of goals also. The Goderich netminders did a very good job as the Dogs were aggressive at the net. Alex, Mason and Dakota were the scorers for the team this game. Next game will be in a couple weeks, next practice is Jan 5. Now that we have the scoring underway we'll try passing!!
