Midgets Get First Win of the Season
It was an exciting Friday, January 4 as the midget Bulldogs traveled to Brussels for their final regular season game. The midget Bulldogs have been fighting hard throughout the regular season and with disciplined play and very few penalties, they were able to defeat the Brussels team by a score of 7 to 0.
Tyson Sjaarda recorded the shut out. Goal scorers for Blyth included Dan Dery, Mat Stevenson, Tyler Stevenson and Roman Sturzenegger. Assists went to Tyler Middegaal, Roman Sturzenegger, Lucas Cooke, Thomas LeComte, Michael McDowell, Brett Courtney, and John LeComte. The team is looking forward to their upcoming playdowns.
