Novice Win 4 of 5 Games
Over the past two weekends the Novice team won four of the five games played. Brussels was in town for game one, final score was 5-3 for the locals. Scoring was Chad Treble with 2 goals and 2 assists, Brenden Howson 2 goals and 1 assist, and Cody Treble 1 goal. Single assists went to Colton Rodger, Dawson Coultes and Cameron Gauthier.
The next day the Novice team lost 7-2 in Mount Forest. Colton Rodger and Chad Treble notched a goal a piece, Morgan Howson with 1 assist. February 1st the team traveled to Milverton with a 5-0 victory. Dawson Coultes led the way with a pair of goals, singles going to Colton Rodger, Morgan Howson and Brenden Howson. Colton Rodger and Chad Treble assisting on the goals.
Home and home games were played on Saturday and Sunday with Zurich. The final scores 10-1 and 5-1. Leading the way was Brenden Howson with 3 goals and 2 assists, Colton Rodger 4 goals, Cody Treble 4 goals, Dawson Coultes 1 goal and 1 assist, Morgan Howson 1 goal and 1 assist, Chad Treble 1 goal, Owen Andrews 1 goal, and Jefferson Gordon 1 assist.
The Novice Bulldogs are playing in the Blyth Lions Novice Tournament this weekend.
