A Hard Fought Match for the Atom Rep
The Atom Rep team took to their home ice against the Goderich Sailors Nov.26.  The outcome of this meeting fared much better than the first game of the year.

Approximately one month ago the Bulldogs took to the Sailors ice and met with a very strong, efficient passing and defensive team.  The outcome was a 4 to 1 loss to the Sailors.  This evening (Nov 26) the story played out very different.  The game began at 6:30pm with the snow falling heavily outside and the Bulldogs fighting tirelessly inside.  The Sailors got a head start on the Dogs scoring just 16 seconds into the first period, catching Dustin Treble off guard . Would this be the same as the last meeting with the Sailors? Not a chance.  The next period and 3/4 found the boys in white battling back and forth up and down the ice.  A couple penalties were taken by the Sailors but the Dogs stayed out of the box!  The real excitement came with one minute left in the third period. Coach Coultes put his scoring line out and pulled the goalie allowing the sixth skater to take to the ice.  The scramble began when the play was in the Sailors end, Defenseman Connor Rodger shot the puck on the net, with Arden Coultes tipping the puck further into the zone when the Captain of the Dogs Dustin Pennington picked up the rebound and flipped it over the goalie.  HE SCORED, with only 28seconds left in official time. What a game, a TIE.  Well done boys a great team effort!
