Blyth Brussels keep hometown fans on the edge of their seats!!

Both teams gave their fans lots to cheer about as the play went back and forth in the first period. With 48 seconds left in the first period Mount Forest scored.

The second period was full of chances by both teams but Cole Zwep held solid in net and stopped any puck that came his way.  It wasn't until the third period that Tyler Drennan shot and scored assisted by Myles Johnston and Tanner Boven.  Blyth Brussels was not going to let their fans down and four minutes later Myles Johnston assisted by Nick McArter and Ryan Jacklin, put one past the goalie for the lead. The team along with AP players Connor Brooks, Reece Sparling, and Jason Wilts worked hard and held Mount Forest off till the buzzer rang.

Blyth Brussels travel to Mount Forest Wednesday night for game three.
